Description
In-Person Food Manager class, compliant with Louisiana Department of Health standards for Food Safety Manager certification. Prerequisite requirement for the LDH Food Safety Manager Certificate ("Gold Seal")
- Receive Your Book Early:
- To get your book before the class, please add Shipping & Handling to your order.
- Alternatively, local attendees may call ahead and pick up the book from our office.
- If you do not choose these options, you will receive your book on the day of the class.
ServSafe Manager Exam Language Options:
- Available in:
- English, Spanish, Chinese
- If you need Korean, French, Japanese, or Large Print, please contact the office for details.
- Special Accommodations:
- If you need a reader or translator, please contact the office for details.
Class Details:
- Start Time: 9 a.m. sharp
- End Time: Around 5:30 p.m.
- Arrival:
- Please arrive before 9 a.m.
- Late arrivals will not be allowed to enter or take the class.
- Contact the LRA office to reschedule if late.
What to Bring:
- Valid I.D.
- No. 2 Pencil
- Textbook with the black and white answer sheet (if applicable).
Important Notes:
- Textbook and Answer Sheet:
- You must have your answer sheet to take the test.
- If you are retesting, an answer sheet will be provided on the day of the class.
- Lost or Forgotten Answer Sheet:
- Replacement cost: $40 at the class.
- Alternatively, reschedule the class with a $30 fee.
- Lost Textbook:
- Replacement cost: $75 (if available from the instructor on the exam day).
- Lunch:
- Not included or provided. Bring your own.
- Classroom Environment:
- Bring a light jacket or sweater as room temperatures may vary.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy:
- No Refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
- Rescheduling Fee:
- $30 (must be done within 90 days of the original test date).
- Extended Rescheduling:
- Full course fee applies if rescheduled more than 90 days after the original test date.
- No second textbook will be provided.
- Rescheduling Limits:
- You can reschedule twice. After that, full course fee applies.
Preparation:
- A forty-question practice exam and answer key are provided in your confirmation email to help you prepare.
